“Sinan Refik Zafar sculpts sound to describe his vulnerability, to overcome its timbre and melody and rhythm. He weaves in and around silence, hewing it into forms sometimes irradiant and sometimes invisible but always felt—deep, resonant, tonic—by those who let themselves listen.”
