Kris Layng

Kris Layng, NYU/Tisch

Kris Layng is a set and production designer from Philadelphia.

He holds a B.F.A. in film and television production from NYU/Tisch, and specializes in concept art, illustration and painting. He is also a design consultant for the window displays at Tiffany & Co. in New York.

Recent credits include set design for the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s Scenes from Courtlife at NYU, an interactive haunted house project, and concept art for a new Judd Apatow comedy.

Kris is currently pursuing an MFA in design for stage and film at NYU/Tisch, where he received a Tisch Fellowship.
