Alexander Woodward

Alexander Woodward, Yale

Alexander has fostered a passion for theatre from an early age, following this, he focused his education on the arts, earning his BFA from Ithaca College in design while working professionally for numerous theatres around the United States.

He has found delight collaborating on projects that span the performance art form: most frequently through scenic design, exploring the relationship of characters to space.  Recent credits include: The Moors (Yale Rep); Don Juan, The Children, Othello (Yale School of Drama); Lake Kelsey (World Premiere); Roberto Zucco (Yale Cabaret); and Once Five Years Pass (Williamstown Theatre Festival). Alexander is a Schubert Scholarship recipient, as well as a Donald M. Oenslager fellow and a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
